From the Minister's Desk

May 2023

Greetings & Thanks

I give many thanks first to God and all church members and the church council. Words cannot express how delighted, excited, and thankful I am to have continued this call given by God and the opportunity Leighmoor has given me. I sincerely appreciate that the Leighmoor congregation is a faith community that is spiritually mature, emotionally encouraging, generously supportive, and truly worshipping.

Connecting to Jesus

I would like to focus on connecting to Jesus and others so that all the church members can be whole-hearted people and spirit-filled Christians living from a deep sense of worthiness and strong sense of love and belonging in Jesus and Faith Communities.

Educational Ministry

New long-term curriculum will be based on the life-long Christian Education that can help the transformation of the whole congregation. In addition, it can contribute to reshaping faith and lifestyle.

Ministry Vision & Life-long Discipleship

I am interested in the formation and transformation of our Leighmoor church in terms of five essential factors of church, 1) worship and liturgy, 2) teaching and training, 3) preaching and mission, 4) Christian relationships and fellowship, and 5) serving and doing for lifelong faith growth, development, and various faith experiences. I aim for these to be achieved within every age group in our church. I hope it can be balanced, intercultural, and intergenerational regarding faith growth and life-long discipleship.

My unchangeable vision is to be a good shepherd that loves Jesus, genuinely caring for God’s people, spreading the Gospel in both faith and life, and making disciples from the beginning until the very end regarding ministry. I hope and pray everything will be used for the Glory of God, Leighmoor Church, and related ministries along with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

I hope that I can be God’s instrument for bringing along spiritual restoration and revival to us and our church. I pray that God’s love, grace, and salvation will be fully upon all our church members, wider communities, and the world. And I kindly would like to ask for the continuous support and prayer for not only the ministry to be abundant with God’s love & blessings, but also for the church to be family-like, a beautiful community under God’s protection.

Many thanks indeed! May God’s abundant blessings be upon you always.
